Confirm Registration

After you click “Finish” on the Cvent registration form, you will receive an automated email from the system. If you have not received confirmation of your registration within 24 hours, assume you are NOT registered. You can contact the institute director for information by email: apsiHawai‘i@gmail.com

Late Registration

No guarantees. We establish deadlines based on our need to prepare for our APSI participants in advance, e.g., (copying, ordering College Board materials, food and hotel accommodations, etc.). We may accept registration after our stated deadline, but reserve the right to close registrations at any time after June 13, 2025. Note: registration deadline is the date we must RECEIVE the registration by, not the date you submit a request to your district for funding.

Food

Yes, you will receive a continental breakfast, box lunch and afternoon snacks. Once you have registered you will receive a Survey to determine any dietary restrictions and/or allergies.

What to bring

Please bring the following:
• Materials will be delivered in electronic format. Please bring a computer to your session every day
• Participants should bring their textbooks they will utilize in their AP® class during the upcoming school year
• Computers and/or writing tools - some sessions will develop lesson plans, units, and year-long plans aligned to the curricular requirements for your AP® content are

College Board Materials

Yes, you will receive subject specific digital APSI materials, e.g., Course & Exam Description CED from the College Board, should you want this material in print you can order the printed version for $35 from the College Board store.

Attire

Please dress comfortably and casually for all sessions. Hawai‘i daytime highs can be in the mid 80's to low 90’s in July, with cooler temperatures in the evenings. Air-conditioned classrooms may be chilly so bring a sweater or light jacket.

Housing

Yes, (on a first come first serve basis) at our official hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach at the great daily rate of $219 per night. The final daily cost per room is $258.34 which includes 4.712% sales tax and 13.25% hotel room tax.
