Aloha Hawai‘i APSI
Aloha and welcome to the second Hawai‘i Advanced Placement® Summer Institute (APSI). Come and experience “Aloha” with your fellow AP® teachers from around the world through an environment that fosters the true aloha spirit of love, peace, compassion, and a mutual understanding and respect for learning.

The Hawai‘i APSI is an in person exciting experience that offers new and experienced high school AP® teachers the opportunity to improve their content knowledge, skills and pedagogy through 4 days of workshops on the beautiful island of Oahu. The Institute is held at Damien Memorial School (Honolulu) from July 14-17, 2025 and led by experienced, passionate and dedicated College Board-endorsed lead consultants who have multiple years of experience with proven track records of assisting fellow AP® teachers.

Our APSI consultants are distinguished by their exceptional credentials and achievements.
They include: Authors, AP® Test Development Committee Members, AP® Exam Readers AP® Table Leaders. Additionally, our consultants have received:
• Special Recognition Awards: Honored by their schools, states, and book publishers for their outstanding contributions
• Awards from the College Board: Acknowledged for their excellence and impact in AP® education
• Regional and National Teaching Awards: Celebrated for their exceptional teaching practices and influence on the field

Our exceptional consultants are dedicated to sharing their expertise and passion for learning with fellow AP® teachers, continuously enhancing their educational experience for students and educators alike.

The Hawai‘i APSI is the perfect spot to:
• Renew one's sense of enthusiasm for teaching their AP® course

In Hawai‘i, you’ll be able to enjoy a beautiful sun set, a perfect beach and you’ll enjoy breathtaking sights at every turn. You’ll witness nature's power in national parks, and you’ll be able to tour amazing museums. Hawai‘i has some of the most spectacular golf courses in the world, but beware, it’s hard to focus on your golf game due to the distractions of the beautiful scenery and friendly people.
